Anywhere But Here, Episode 116 – Snow Banked
This special podcast is going out at some point when it has snowed so hard Ant and Tom have been unable to record… or, perhaps it’ll be used whenever they want a week off in the Summer. Ironic, huh?!
In today’s show the boys talk about snow, how it is formed, what the record for biggest snow fall and the tallest snow woman, which was constructed by the residents of Bethel, in Maine. She was 122 feet tall and has 30foot Spruce trees as arms! They also recall some anecdotes from their past including some scary moments behind the wheel of a car, photo opportunities in the park and somehow get on to the subject of rubbish JML products they used to sell, or have bought.
Ant decides that snow is a bit of a limited subject to talk about so reads through some remedies for the common cold that have been proven not to work including vitamin C and alcohol. Shock, horror!
It’s a short one, but a good one with many a snow-based pun thrown in for good measure!
Here is a picture of the giant snow woman
And here is the Japanese Wall-E style robot that compacts snow and runs by GPS, Yuki-taro (don’t know who the guy is!):
